Basic by adler oak parquet single strip

Cost-effective single strip for construction projects

The single strip parquet is one of the classic parquet versions, which is frequently used in large residential construction projects. In order to be able to offer a cost-effective product in the Adler range in the residential construction sector, we have developed our Basic by Adler single strip. The Basic by Adler single strip is produced to the high standards of Adler quality in Dirlewang in Germany and can nevertheless be offered at a cost-effective price. We achieve this by producing large batches in only two surface and one grade, which has a somewhat thinner top layer of 3.5 mm oak sawn veneer and by using HDF, a rather less expensive core material.

Here is an image of the colour of this product.

The images can only give an impression of the colours and structures of the actual wooden flooring and are not binding, since wood is a natural product and the colours are therefore dependent on the structure and the properties of the wood.

What you should know about Basic by adler

Our Basic by adler complies with fire protection class Cfl-S1. Because a layer of HDF core material is used, this wooden flooring is unfortunately not formaldehyde-free, but does comply with the E1 standard. General approval from building authorities has been obtained.

As standard we supply only right strips.

Here we have briefly produced some more useful information for you. You will find all the technical details in the PDF document, the Technical Product Data-sheet, which you can download from our Infothek.

Surface treatment & colour variations Basic by adler

The Basic single strip is manufactured with our high quality UV-cured acrylic varnish or in our very robust NATURA+ oil finish.

Installation & underfloor heating system Basic by adler

The Ambiance by adler single strip is two-layer and must be installed with total glue down.

By virtue of this construction and the low overall thickness the thermal resistance of this multi-layer plank is approx. 0.062 m²k / W (pursuant to EN14342). This makes it ideal for installation on a hot water based underfloor heating system.

A maximum temperature of the subfloor of 23°C – 28°C should not be exceeded. Please consult our About Parquet installation instructions for the precise guidelines on installation on underfloor heating systems in the Download field and the information in About Parquet.

Care & indoor climate Basic by adler

In order to obtain a lot of enjoyment from your parquet, you should give it the appropriate care. The varnished surface must also be properly cared for. You will find hints on care in our current Care Instructions, which can be downloaded from the Infotheque.

You should also ensure that you have a healthy indoor climate, not just for your parquet, which consists of wood, a living natural substance, but also for yourself. This means a relative air humidity of approx. 40 – 60% and a pleasant room temperature of 19 – 22°C.

If the air humidity and temperature drop below these reference values, this may cause great harm to your wooden floor.

Other alternatives for housing construction

Other cost-effective products offered by us for housing construction are our Basic by adler LONG short strip plank and our two-layer Object multi-strip ship-style floorboard.
