Elégance by adler 600: trendy herringbone installation

The herringbone installation of parquet floors has currently come back into fashion and is encouraged in many of today's lifestyle magazines. The typical feature of this installation technique is the recurring pattern, which recalls the pattern of bones on the spine of a fish. Parquet strips of identical size are installed with their ends positioned at right angles to each other. This produces an interesting visual effect, which breaks up the light on the parquet strips. This classic parquet design combines well both with modern and with traditional lifestyles.

In order to respond to this continuing trend, we have developed the two-layer Elegance by adler 600 strip in oak and walnut. This elegant short parquet strip has very balanced dimensions of 600x100x10 mm, which results in a well-proportioned, soothing, elegant appearance. The good size of 600x100 mm can also inspire to install other patterns like squares. The core construction comprises high quality, massive spruce strips. All the planks are bevelled and the surface is machine wire brushed or smooth depending on the wood specie.

We offer as standard three different shades, which are all processed with our high quality, oxidatively cured NATURA+ oil treatment. On request other the other colours in our Villa by adler product palette are available with the exception of the hand scraped versions.

This herrinbone strip is formaldehyde-free and has general building authority approval. It complies with fire protection class Cfl-S1 for the wood Oak.
